Work in progress: travertine at Fosso Bandito – Parco delle Cascine
The Cascine area has been redeveloped, partly thanks to its proximity to the new Opera di Firenze structure. Additionally, the new venue Fosso Bandito has been added.
The venue is located within the Parco delle Cascine and spans 4,000 square meters where visitors can stop, play, eat, and refresh themselves. The space aims to enhance the park in a historic location that previously housed the Central Park nightclub.
The surrounding landscape has changed, but the old structure with a circular track that hosts the restaurant has been preserved.
The large venue is surrounded by trees and opens from morning for breakfast until late evening after dinner. It welcomes locals and tourists, also hosting numerous events organized for adults and families.

The real strength is the outdoor area with tables, sofas, armchairs, and open Wi-Fi for everyone.
Currently, an expansion of the outdoor area is underway.

Pietre di Rapolano supplied the materials for the outdoor flooring and cladding. The choice of travertine, durable and suitable for exteriors, is certainly optimal. For this project, a light color selection was chosen, rather uniform with some veining, Pdr 067 Light Blend.
The chosen format is 30×60 cm, and special pieces were made to ensure perfect installation.
The company overseeing the installation is PIEMME SNC of Terranuova Bracciolini.
