Wood-like travertine bathroom
Stone and wood blend perfectly in the bathroom environment, even when the stone texture evokes the typical grain of wood. As in this medium-sized bathroom made entirely with natural materials.
Dark wood has been paired with a particular selection of travertine from the Woodline line with a slat pattern, resulting in great aesthetic harmony.
Travertine can indeed be obtained from a so-called “vein cut” or “cross-cut”; in the latter, the veins resulting from the sedimentation of calcium carbonate during the material’s formation emerge.
The floors and coverings were made of Elm Stone travertine (PDR058) from the Woodline line, with a medium beige background and pronounced veins ranging from gray to brown, in the characteristic plank format (size cm 30×60) here in the brushed, unfilled version.
Additionally, the Fiano washbasin was chosen, with a semi-spherical shape that enhances the veins and shades of light travertine and perfectly matches the floors and coverings of the Woodline line.
Completing the project is the TK shower tray which has a low thickness, a simple design with light grooves on the surface that help channel water towards the drain, here in a rectangular format.
The wooden bathroom cabinet was studied and designed specifically based on the client’s needs and requirements.
