Wood and travertine cutting boards at Taste 2017
Marble and travertine are not only precious materials but also versatile. Thanks to their durability, they can be used in various fields. Pietre di Rapolano has always collaborated with young designers and industry professionals to create new products characterized by lightness, elegance, and functionality.
After already designing a line of solid travertine cutting boards, a new type of cutting board in marble and travertine with a simple and linear design has been created.

The result is an ode to natural materials, as wood has been paired with stone, chosen in various color essences to create refined and harmonious combinations.
The stones used represent a varied range of tones and colors that nature can offer, such as the precious Statuario white marble, Portoro marble, light travertine, and Zebra Dark Travertine PDR042.

The tray design is simple to highlight the natural texture of the stone with wood framing the surface. Ideal for serving cold cuts and cheeses in an original way.
The cutting boards have indeed been chosen by Antica Macelleria Falorni to present their new cold cuts during Taste, the food fair in Florence, now in its 12th edition, hosting over 380 companies from the agri-food sector. At Stazione Leopolda from March 11 to Monday, March 13, you can taste the cold cuts from the butcher shop located in Greve in Chianti at their stand D 56.

The beautiful veins of marble and natural stone adapt to various solutions and types of table and home accessories.
