Villa in Bolgheri: our work on outdoor flooring
In the countryside around Bolgheri, a magnificent villa has been built, with all its outdoor areas paved in Pietra di Rapolano.
The paving was done by choosing a composition of different sizes (20×20 – 20×40 – 40×40 – 40×60).

The resulting image, combined with the brushed finish, perfectly suits a house set in such a prestigious environmental context.

Travertine is characterized by the presence of holes. The brushing of the material makes the surface “soft” to the touch and sight.
In this case, the material was also grouted on site, partially closing some of the characteristic holes of the travertine. The typical image of travertine is thus maintained, while reducing the roughness caused by the holes.
For the pool flooring, a selection of Pietra di Rapolano World Wide was chosen, a designation used for all travertines from sources other than Rapolano.
