The vintage and contemporary style of Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen
Luxury and opulence are the foundation of the project for the boutique Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen. Located opposite the Royal Danish Theatre, it is owned by a former dancer and the son of a theater producer. Perhaps for this reason, the interiors designed by the British studio Lind + Almond are particularly dramatic yet harmonious.
The furnishings are impeccable, creating rich environments where vintage design furniture is skillfully mixed with contemporary details. The materials and finishes are of absolute quality, featuring natural materials such as marble and fine woods, as well as metals.
The rooms are decorated with an eclectic style that mixes modern and colonial with rich textures, marble coverings, and Art Nouveau wallpapers.

Attention to detail is also highlighted by the atmosphere and the light filtering through the large windows.
The lobby is also a mix of custom-made furnishings and vintage pieces like Danish design lamps, creating a welcoming atmosphere that aims to make guests feel relaxed, just like in a theater.

Awaiting guests, in addition to the 52 hotel rooms, is a bar called Tata, named after the red curtain used in the theater, with golden lights, cozy armchairs, velvets, and chrome details. An oasis of absolute relaxation.

The hotel consists of three adjacent 19th-century buildings and houses a selection of contemporary artworks in the common areas and rooms,
54 luxurious rooms designed to meet the needs of every guest, from couples to solo travelers, for whom the Coupé rooms inspired by luxury train cabins have been designed. A selection of emerging artists was commissioned by Dais Contemporary to create exclusive artworks throughout the hotel, including Mat Chivers, Pavlina Ecclesiarhou, Emma Bennett, and Elke Sada.
