The harmony of a travertine bathroom cladding. The project by Studio PLB
If you truly love travertine, this bathroom is made for you.
In the project by Studio PLB Architecture&Engineering, our travertine was used for the bathroom cladding of an elegant apartment. The current environment now has a dramatic yet intimate flair, defining and embracing all the furnishing elements present: organized in a linear fashion, it encompasses all their features.

The apartment is a 160 sqm residence, located on the noble floor of a 19th-century structured building, with wooden beams and thick stone walls, situated outside the circle of ancient walls, yet still in the central area of Florence.
The intervention involved the complete demolition of the previous configuration with a bathtub, favoring a more modern aspect with a floor-level shower tray and glass enclosure.
The treated oak parquet withstands water presence over the years, while the chrome-plated steel faucets and wall-mounted mixer add sophistication.
The countertop was custom-carved to accommodate the chrome-plated steel heated towel rail: the intervention is completed by the creation of aesthetic plasterboard veils, painted with “silk effect” paint and equipped with illuminating LED strips and spot diffusion points on the travertine cladding supplied by us.
Note the elegant installation of the latter with the formation of three pronounced aesthetic joints along the entire perimeter of the bathroom, and the installation of full intermediate formats selected each time to provide continuity to the veins, with the closure of two bands, top and bottom, in half the original format.
