The beauty of a space with a view of the center
The Relais Luce is a new BB in the center of Florence, with a wonderful view of the Medici Chapels and Giotto’s Bell Tower. The welcoming and functional space is spread over two floors and was designed by Architect Francesco Santoni, who lives and works in Florence. The project paid particular attention to light, which is never invasive and is integrated into the architectural space. The furnishings have clear references to the 1920s style with added touches of color to make the ensemble more contemporary. The materials used are wood, concrete, and travertine used in both the bathrooms and the kitchen.
The choice of travertine
The bathrooms in particular were designed as small spas with an integrated chromotherapy system and light travertine sinks: in one bathroom, the freestanding Colonna (code TR086) was used for the sink, while in the other, the Tonda (code VA051) was chosen for the countertop sink.
For the kitchen, custom countertops in Becagli Chiaro travertine (code PDR006) were made, a selection of color in luminous and warm beige tones, perfect for the common area from which you can enjoy the view of the monuments of Florence.
