The living space
In this home of a young fashion designer couple, various types of stone materials have been used both as cladding and flooring.
The residence, a former warehouse in the city’s historic center, is located on the ground floor and is arranged around an internal courtyard that has been paved with PDR040 Zebra Chiara travertine and receives natural light from above.
All the rooms of the house, such as the dining area and the living room, which features a fireplace with a rectangular frame of Giallo di Siena marble, face the courtyard.
The adjacent kitchen features a Bianco di Carrara countertop with a 10 cm high front edge and a full-height backsplash that ends under the cabinets.
The bathroom in Bianco Alba
The master bathroom project, directly connected to the bedroom through a central partition, includes the creation of three areas: two side areas in mustard-colored resin for the sink tops, and the central area in PDR134 Bianco Alba marble in a 30.5×61 cm polished finish for the sanitary area and the shower tray.
The shower tray was created using the same tiles as the cladding, cut to size and laid to direct water towards the linear wall drain.
Bianco Alba is a very elegant marble with a milky background and copper-colored veins.
The dark marbles
In the basement, there is a Turkish bath for which PDR 055 Zebra Black titanium travertine was used, a travertine with very dark tones ranging from gray to brown, sourced from Iran, which gives the environment a very suggestive and somber atmosphere at the same time.
The guest bathroom also features dark tones: a squared bathroom sink in Dark Emperador Marble (carved from a solid block) was placed on a metallic countertop.
