Tailored Elegance
A Kitchen in Arabescato Corchia Marble in the Heart of Florence
Marble, with its timeless beauty, has the power to transform any environment into a space of pure elegance. At Pietre di Rapolano, we know this well and are proud to present one of our most recent projects: the creation of all marble cladding for a designer kitchen in a private residence in Florence, a work that marries craftsmanship with modern architectural vision.
The result of a prestigious collaboration with the architect in charge of this project, which featured one of the most precious and fascinating materials: Arabescato Corchia Marble.
The Project: Precision and Style
For this kitchen, we handled the supply and custom processing of marble for the countertop, the backsplash, and the magnificent central island, which serves as the beating heart of the space. Each piece was cut with millimeter precision and crafted to perfection to seamlessly integrate with the minimalist and sophisticated design of the environment.
The work included cutouts for the inset sink, induction cooktop, and mixer, executed with the utmost care to ensure an impeccable finish and optimal functionality. The result is a continuous and fluid surface, where the natural beauty of the stone is maximized.
The Choice of Marble: Arabescato Corchia
Arabescato Corchia is a marble that captures the eye. Characterized by a crystalline white background, it is crossed by significant dark gray veins, the so-called “arabesques,” which create bold and dynamic patterns. In this specific block, warm golden inclusions can also be seen, adding a touch of preciousness and warmth to the whole, creating a wonderful contrast with the cool tones of the furnishings and steel.
The choice to use the same material for both the worktop and the vertical cladding creates a visually impactful continuity, transforming the kitchen into a true work of art.
Collaboration and Vision
Working alongside the architect in this project was a true pleasure. His clear vision and attention to detail allowed us to best express our technical and artisanal expertise. The synergy between the architectural project and our mastery in stone processing has given life to a space that is not just a kitchen, but an expression of style and refinement.
We are proud to have contributed to creating such a unique environment, where contemporary design meets the eternal elegance of marble.
