Extremely refined hilly landscape
The Florence Hills Luxury Resort is a holiday residence located a few kilometers from Florence, on the hills below Vallombrosa. The artistic direction of the project was overseen by architect Nicola Visibelli.
For the outdoor flooring and the pool, Leather Brown travertine (code PDR027) was used in a pebble surface finish, which is extremely suitable because it is not slippery.
The choice of travertine
For the pool edge, steps, and walls, material with an increased thickness of 3cm was used to achieve a more imposing effect compared to the standard tile thickness of 1.3cm. Travertine in general is suitable for use near the pool because even when wet, it is not slippery.
For the bathrooms, the choice was Sunset (code PDR028) with warm tones in a modern finish, grouted and polished to facilitate cleaning and provide a more elegant appearance to the finished work. With this material, the floors, wall coverings, custom shower trays, and baseboards were made. The same material was used for the stairs and other elements of the outdoor relaxation area.
