The Project
Location: Farmhouse in Lucolena, Greve in Chianti (Florence)
The owner entrusted us with a complete assignment: to provide stone materials and custom furnishings to enhance the interiors, particularly the bathroom and kitchen. The entire architectural project was handled by our technical office.
The result is a perfect balance between the authenticity of the Tuscan farmhouse and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship, from stone selection to furniture creation.
The Bathroom: Harmony and Material
The bathroom is a true sanctuary of natural materials:
- Wall Cladding: We used Travertine PDR058 Travertino controfalda “Elm Stone”. The cross-cut technique (which follows the veining) creates a vertical and vibrant visual effect, enhancing the depth of the stone.
- Flooring: PDR068 Avana Mix Comp 40, which provides a warm and harmonious base for the cladding, with its tonal variations and warm colors.
- Furnishings & Details: The furniture was custom-made by our internal carpentry workshop. The countertops are in Travertine PDR067 Light Blend, paired with refined solid washbasins model “Crib”, carved and crafted for maximum elegance.
The Kitchen: The Timeless Carrara
For the kitchen environment, the choice fell on a timeless classic, symbol of Italian luxury:
- Worktops: Carrara Marble countertops were supplied and installed, a choice of durability and brightness.
- The Solid Sink: The true protagonist is the sink, also in White Carrara Marble. It was created from a single solid piece, carved directly from the block, ensuring not only superior aesthetic beauty but also unmatched solidity.
