Pietre di Rapolano joins and supports the project “Together for Life, Together for Sport“, a charitable event that combines sport with solidarity.

The event was conceived by Erika Todisco and Paolo Falleni, parents of little Ginevra, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2009.

The family was supported and helped during this difficult time by two associations: A.G.B.A.L.T. Onlus (Pisa) and Insieme per la vita Onlus (Livorno), both committed to providing assistance to children with leukemia or tumors and their families.

Even today, as the child is happy and serene, the commitment continues to raise funds that can be used to concretely support the children and their families, ensure assistance, and realize ambitious projects.

The project that AGBALT is currently pursuing involves the expansion of the “Isola dei Girasoli” Residence, a large house consisting of 12 fully furnished apartments ready to accommodate families and children undergoing treatment at the Operational Unit, with the creation of a rehabilitation gym and 4 accommodations for families, the future “Village of Smiles”.

More than 25 gyms from the provinces of Florence, Livorno, Pisa, and Lucca are participating in the event. In each gym, Master classes of the most popular disciplines of the moment will be held, and the proceeds from registrations and the sale of t-shirts made for the occasion will be entirely donated to the Agbalt ONLUS and Insieme Per La Vita associations.
