On October 17 and 18, the final of the Carrera Cup Italia, now in its ninth edition, took place at the Mugello circuit. The two races were broadcast live on the DMAX channel.

The grand finale of the Carrera Cup Italia also reached a seasonal record of 21 entries: with some returns and debuts.

The Carrera Cup Italia returned to Mugello for the season finale after the July event, which was the third event on the Italian series calendar. The Tuscan program included free practice on Friday, qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, and Race 2 on Sunday.
