This format is British. And it shows a bit.

Some novice interior designers compete for the chance to win a prestigious work contract. It is an elimination series, so at the end of each episode, one (or two) designers are eliminated.

The briefs are always interesting and fun, and the clients are encouraging but also decidedly critical. Arm yourself with popcorn.

This format is interesting if you want to make small improvements to your apartment or perhaps you own a vacation home. Most of the makeovers are quite quick and cost-effective: if you want to transform a space with little investment, you will find a series of practical tips. But if you want to be delighted by innovative design, it might not be for you.
