Natural stones on Homify
Natural stone is a timeless material that evokes the past but lends itself to modern and contemporary uses.
This is because natural stones are no longer synonymous only with rustic environments, old farmhouses, or country homes. Today, natural stones and travertine are available in various formats and finishes and are used as flooring and cladding in contemporary settings.
Natural stones are durable, available in many shades and color variations, and can personalize any environment, whether indoors or outdoors, from the bathroom to the kitchen to the living room.

The international design site Homify dedicates an article to “Past, present, and future of natural stones” offering useful advice on how to use it in different environments.
For example, stone with a rustic effect, known as “split face,” is suitable in a total white environment with pristine fabrics. It is also suitable for cladding the facade of a house to blend almost seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
Among the projects, our work for the villa of architect and designer Theodore Waddell was also selected. A recently renovated villa, with a minimal, almost zen bathroom entirely clad in Pietra di Rapolano. In particular, this project used Terra Chiara, a beige-based selection with characteristic clouding.
A typically Tuscan natural material capable of giving the environment a unique exclusivity.
