Modern living room with travertine cladding
An idea for a modern and sophisticated living room comes from the project by interior designer Tonia Nisi from the province of Taranto, who expertly managed the restyling of a home for a young couple in Grottaglie.
The focus of the house is the living area intended to welcome guests and serve as a relaxation oasis for the clients. The designer expanded the space dedicated to this environment, achieving an airy and bright result that is also warm and welcoming. To achieve this, she chose a natural material with unique shades for the cladding, destined to last over time: travertine.
Specifically, the Elm Stone travertine from the Woodline collection was selected, featuring a beige background and warm veins ranging from gray to brown, reminiscent of wood textures, adding warmth and elegance.
The Woodline collection is indeed a selection of travertine cut against the grain. The veins emerge clearly and intensely, creating a texture reminiscent of wood. In this project, the Duomo finish was chosen, brushed and unfilled, highlighting the chromatic characteristics and veins.

The bright space was furnished with great attention to detail, such as the custom-designed bottle rack, located on the wall behind the TV, creating a play of solids and voids and lights.
A representative element is placed in the illuminated niche of the living room furniture: the Pupa di Grottaglie, a typical ceramic sculpture.

Among the furnishings, the Twiggy lamp by Foscarini, with a minimalist design, and a bioethanol fireplace. The material used is Elm Stone travertine with a brushed unfilled finish in the 30.5×61 format.
