The Marmomacc, International Fair of Marble, Design, and Technologies, recently concluded its 49th edition.
The fair is a benchmark for the marble industry at an international level and promotes product and technology development, becoming an opportunity to discover trends in the world of stone construction and design. It is a significant event for all operators in the stone sector, construction professionals, and designers.
Numerous cultural initiatives to delve into the topic of stone, among which we visited the exhibition “Design and Technology: technological excellence, transformation capability, and creativity of the Italian stone sector.”
Italy has a long tradition in marble processing that combines design, technology, and craftsmanship. Mechanical innovations and digital design now offer a new way to design and produce stone, alongside research to reduce waste and prevent energy dispersion.
On display are original works designed by the designer Raffaello Galiotto and produced in collaboration with various companies specializing in different sectors (machinery production, marble processing, raw material supply) to involve representatives from the entire stone industry supply chain.
