FLOORS AND COVERINGS

Marble kitchen floors and wall tiles can be standard or custom-sized to perfectly fit the kitchen surfaces.
Custom-sized slabs are slightly more expensive, while standard-sized tiles are more affordable, though no less beautiful, but they don’t allow for a precise selection of the slabs for the work.
Depending on the client’s needs, the kitchen will be designed by optimizing cuts, dimensions, and installation patterns.
Naturally, our technicians will interpret the client’s specifications and tastes or follow the suggestions and guidelines of your architects, collaborating on the execution of the new marble kitchen, contributing to the perfect final result.

Beyond the choice of materials, another consideration will be the size of the pieces to be used: sometimes it will be nice to use very large slabs, sometimes very small pieces, almost like mosaics, will be chosen for the kitchen wall tiles. The result will be carefully studied and agreed upon with you down to the smallest detail.

MARBLE KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS

The kitchen countertop is one of the most important and defining elements of a kitchen.
It can be consistent in color and material with the floors and walls of the rest of the kitchen, or contrast with them.
A classic color contrast is black and white, or white and gray.

The white can be a simple Bianco Carrara, or even a more refined Calacatta.
The gray can be chosen from countless types of marble: from Nero Marquinia to Bardiglio.
Pietra del Cardoso, with its veined gray colors, also lends itself very well to the creation of a marble kitchen countertop.
Sometimes, a kitchen can even be created where the veining on the horizontal and vertical planes matches, creating authentic designs.

CATALOG

This must be planned from the outset, and the slabs chosen are suitable for this type of final effect.
Once this is the desired result, we begin submitting images of slabs suitable for this process. Once the slab and the type of design we can achieve have been chosen, we proceed with the cutting.

In any case, before cutting the slabs, a careful survey is required, which is often done by creating wooden templates that precisely reproduce the measurements of the final surface.
The final working drawings are also prepared by Pietre di Rapolano technicians.

The final step, installing the marble kitchen countertops, is also performed by us, at the client’s request.

MARBLE KITCHEN SINKS

Another element that can contribute to the beauty and prestige of a new kitchen is the marble sink.
The perfect complement to make a kitchen even more prestigious is the marble sink: it can be either solid, carved from a block of marble, or assembled from slabs.
The first solution is the most prestigious and impressive; the second, equally beautiful, is certainly less expensive.
In both cases, the kitchen sink will be made of the same material as the countertop and not steel or one of the possible variants available on the market.

A marble sink is designed to last forever; in fact, like all other natural materials, it tends to become more beautiful with use and time.
It’s clear that a steel sink marked by time, rusted, or damaged by a blow, can only be replaced, while a marble sink will be enhanced by use, which day after day will shape its image.
This product, too, requires some production and assembly precautions to ensure its unlimited use. Pietre di Rapolano technicians will implement these precautions throughout every stage, from cutting to final assembly.
