Facciate in pietra naturale

Natural stone facades

Have you ever paid attention to a building’s façade?
Living or working in a building that reflects your image requires the use of façade materials that possess a dynamic form of architectural self-expression.
This is why deciding to clad a façade in stone is certainly a way to make a building prestigious and unique.

Choosing to entirely or partially clad a façade with natural stone not only enhances the importance and beauty of the entire building, but also provides greater protection from deterioration and wear than simple plaster.

The various stone colors, textures, and the countless marbles suitable for exterior use offer designers infinite aesthetic and style solutions. The colors you choose depend on your preferences, and it’s possible to use different shades of a particular color to produce an overlapping effect that creates the impression of depth.

Or, if you want to make a real statement, you can opt for a bold look that contrasts light and shadow along with different textures.
Una volta effettuata la tua scelta di stile, andrà stabilito che tipo di facciata si vorrà realizzare anche da un punto di vista strutturale.

Ventilated stone facade

It is created by anchoring a metal support structure to the main façade, to which a stone cladding is attached, spaced from the façade itself. A ventilated cavity is created between the stone and the façade, contributing to the insulation of the building itself.

The strength of this system lies in its ventilation/insulation system.

A critical point is that the cost of the entire system is affected by the cost of the structure, its design and installation, and the need for stone cladding slabs with a minimum thickness of 3 cm, which are both expensive and heavy.

Glued stone facade

In this case, stone cladding slabs are glued directly onto the wall substrate, with a thickness of up to 1.3 cm, resulting in cost and weight savings, compared to those required for a ventilated façade.

This system, with some care in gluing and creating expansion joints, is certainly the most cost-effective.
