Expo 2015: vote for your favorite pavilion
If you follow us, you know that Expo 2015 is closely related to us. Our travertines were used for the exterior cladding and flooring of the Mexico Pavilion.
The event, which in its first month already had 2.7 million visitors with 15 million tickets sold, is in full swing.
From the Tree of Life, the symbol of the Expo, to the fun elastic net of Brazil, from the suspended spheres of Azerbaijan to the forest of the Austrian pavilion, visitors can explore different continents and vote for their favorite Pavilion.
Thanks to “Vote for Your Expo”, a survey that gathers opinions and feedback.
The results so far? The most spectacular pavilions are Japan’s, which excellently represents the synthesis of tradition and modernity with its 17,000 interlocking wooden pieces that allow light to penetrate, followed by the white nest of the Italy pavilion and Kazakhstan, which even features a sturgeon aquarium.
Among the most interesting pavilions for learning, Germany ranks first, followed by Israel and Pavilion Zero.
Brazil, on the other hand, ranks as the most entertaining pavilion (clearly ahead of Germany and Japan), the most suitable pavilion for children with a percentage of 39%, and the country chosen as the destination for a future trip.
In this last ranking, Japan and unexpectedly Colombia are at the top.

In the food-related questions, some mention McDonald’s, others the Mexican terrace, but Italy remains on the podium. Following at a distance are Argentina, Japan, and Mexico.
