Bathroom with tub and zebra travertine cladding
The natural environment for travertine is indeed the bathroom, as this limestone material originates in water. For this reason, it is ideal for floors and cladding, as well as for countertop sinks and shower trays.
Pietre di Rapolano has been working with this material for over 40 years and creates custom projects for individuals and businesses. For each environment, you can choose from thirty different color selections and then customize the stone slabs based on the most suitable format and finish. Each project will therefore be unique, as the stone is born in nature and is never the same.
In this project, a spacious bathroom with a tub was clad in travertine. The chosen color selection is Zebra Terra Chiara Venata, which was used not only for the cladding but also for the tub and the bathroom cabinet.

This particular type of travertine belongs to the Woodline series, which features distinct and parallel veins typical of the cross-cut. The collection includes four different color selections characterized by the typical veins reminiscent of wood. Zebra Terra Chiara Venata presents a typically Tuscan tone with shades ranging from beige to gray, a truly elegant and characterful material.

For this project, Pietre di Rapolano collaborated with the company Faesulae from Florence, specializing in renovations and restorations, which requested additional custom pieces besides the slabs for wall cladding to cover the bathroom cabinet and the rectangular tub.

This is a very simple way to create a homogeneous environment without having to install a solid stone tub, which obviously has considerable dimensions and is suitable only for spacious environments. In this way, it is possible to have a small oasis of relaxation even in limited spaces with a remarkable, prestigious, and harmonious final effect.

To achieve a homogeneous effect worthy of a modern Spa, Zebra Terra Chiara Venata travertine was also used for the top and cladding of the bathroom cabinet, which is completed with a light wood drawer unit and doors.
A truly interesting project for the use of travertine. Here is the material used:
