A luxury penthouse with natural materials in Sao Paulo
A modern luxury penthouse is the project designed by Studio MK27 located atop a newly constructed condominium in São Paulo.
Developed over three floors, the apartment focuses on rich materials such as wooden panels and travertine floors, as well as a new open and communicative spatial layout that creates continuity between the different levels and environments.

According to the designers’ concept, various pathways are created and a substantial fluidity of spaces, with large corridors serving as connections and giving rise to suggestive galleries to display the owners’ art collection.

Among the different environments, there remains a division between areas reserved for residents and spaces for their guests. The heights are fully utilized with imposing custom-made furnishings that create a welcoming and solemn atmosphere, particularly in the living room and library, which overlook the city through two splendid windows.
In the furnishings, in addition to the custom-made furniture, standout design pieces from various origins, Brazilian, Scandinavian, and Italian, signed by Hugo França, Hans Wegner, Franco Albini, and Gio Ponti, among others.

The interior walls have been clad in wood and corten steel panels and are paired with ungrouted light-toned travertine floors for the convivial areas. The bedrooms located on the first floor of this luxury penthouse based on natural materials have wooden floors while the bathrooms feature beige travertine coverings and countertops. On the second floor, there is the kitchen, an office area, the dining room, and the living room. On the top floor, the imposing library and the wellness area host an indoor pool, a winter garden, and a gym.
The atmosphere is welcoming and luxurious, focusing on tones from beige to red, passing through ochre shades for fabrics, decorative elements, and details. Each environment is furnished with style and great attention to materials and textures.
