A bathroom in the colors of Pietra di Rapolano

Customizing a room with travertine is truly easy. The tones of Pietra di Rapolano with its veins and subtle color variations will enhance the walls and floors of your bathroom.

Travertine is a durable natural stone, and since it originates in water, it is perfect for use in bathrooms, pools, spas, outdoors, and all other environments and spaces where this element is present.

In this particular project, one of the most typical color selections of Pietre di Rapolano was used, called Terra Chiara (PDR013), a travertine extracted from quarries in Tuscany characterized by a light beige background with veins and distinctive spots.

This material falls into the category of Clouded, which includes all materials cut in slabs that feature this defined spot pattern known as clouding.

The material was used to cover all the walls of the bathroom, and the designer Arch. Marco Innocenti also wanted to create the shower tray and cover the shower head in travertine. The shower tray was custom-made, as it is not a standard size.

Travertine is a natural material that combines perfectly with wood. Therefore, there are numerous possible combinations for furnishing your bathroom. In this project, a linear and simple light wood cabinet was created.

Our company also creates stone and wood furniture in various sizes and styles. The colors and shapes can be customized at the client’s request, who, together with our architects, can define the right furnishings for their bathroom.
