5 of the Hottest Home Decor Trends for Fall/Winter 2019 for Your Home
The leaves are starting to fall, which means it’s time to look at fall/winter decor trends! We’ve chosen our favorites.

Are you looking for the colors of fall 2019 for your home design? This season emphasizes color and creating a cozy and comforting scheme. Peacock blue, artfully used marble, black kitchens…these are just accents, but don’t worry if they seem too dark: pink and green are also strong design choices this fall.
We have identified our 5 favorite “warm” home decor trends to give you a wider choice: so take a look below and discover how to “replicate” these stunning trends.
Black, Our Prince of the Night
Black accessories emerged as a trend last year and, a year later, they have managed to creep into furniture, especially in dining rooms and kitchens.

Choosing black in these living spaces is certainly a bold statement that abandons the minimalism that was so popular in past years.
Blue, Intensely Blue
This type of peacock blue is as strong a choice as the black mentioned above, but it can be easily managed by pairing it with a lighter color, like this year’s millennial pink, which prevents this blue from being overwhelming.
Use it as a curtain color and for tableware to add depth: to tone it down, use a touch of mustard color.

Marble Effect
We already mentioned it when we talked about the trends emerging from the latest Salone del Mobile, but we’ll say it again: luxury materials like travertine and marble are dominating this year, and the trend for 2020 seems to remain the same.

We can say that in 2019, modern design returned to its roots. All areas of the home should allow raw materials to shine on their own: if you choose to pair them, do so only with materials like wood, jute, or copper.
Regal Mosaic
Perhaps it hasn’t quite taken off yet, but we’re willing to take the plunge: we’re sure that 2020 will see the grand return of the mosaic, so why not get ahead and choose it for a fall project?

It’s a complex and labor-intensive art, so we think this is the main reason it hasn’t really taken off as it could. But stay tuned…
The Memphis Style is Back to Stay
Perhaps we’ve never been die-hard fans of the ’80s. But there’s no denying it was a period with interestingly shaped furniture and modern materials: well, this trend has returned in 2019 and isn’t slowing down, managing to incorporate some accessories from different styles.

Yes, we think that as a trend of atmospheres applied to decor, it will accompany us into the near future: we’re enjoying this wild ride.
